Staying in an AirBnB when visiting a city is extremely important to us. By renting an AirBnB with good cooking facilities, we can chose to eat in or out.
This gives us the opportunity to experience everything that a city has to offer in terms of food.
The AirBnB we chose in Toronto, was smaller than the one we had just left in Vancouver. Upon arrival, we collected the key from a lockbox outside the property. We were given instructions via the host message on AirBnB. Parking was located in the basement on level -3 and was ample for the Dodge Charger.
The apartment was located on the 11th Floor of 8 Charlotte Street. with views into the city. Not as spectacular as Vancouver but still interesting.
There was some construction going on whilst we were there so that might impact the views in the future.
The decor throughout the apartment was monochromatic, my favourite scheme! There was a small entrance hall, off which the first shower room could be found.
There was also a small utilities cupboard which housed the washing machine and tumble dryer.
This then led to the open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen was a really good size with a large island. It was great for sitting at whilst my husband was preparing food.
The lounge area also had a decent sized corner sofabed. This was perfect for resting our wry legs after a long day exploring the city.
In the lounge, there was also a fish tank. This had real life Dory and Nemo fishes in it! It was quite possibly the best feature of the AirBnB!
The lounge area led to a small office space which also has an extra bed.
Both this and the lounge had electric blinds – fancy!
From here was the Master Bedroom with an extremely comfy bed.
Not that we used it but the bedroom had hidden projector screen comes from the ceiling.
Finally there was an en-suite. I loved the gold/brass fittings.
Here’s the video of the the whole place.
Looking forward to seeing more of Toronto…
